You've asked for it, we delivered. Perk 1.1 grows the product-page coupon you know into a full discount engine: five kinds of offer, each with a widget design built for it, and much smarter codes behind them. Here is what's new, and more importantly, why.

Volume discounts, built for the product page

Most stores that want "buy more, save more" end up burying it in a cart message or a banner the shopper only sees after they've already decided how many to buy. That's backwards. The quantity decision happens on the product page, so that's where the incentive has to live.

Perk now renders your quantity tiers as selectable cards right beside the add to cart button - buy 3 save 10%, buy 5 save 15% - with real prices, the savings spelled out, and a highlight that follows whichever tier the shopper qualifies for. Tap a tier and the quantity updates itself. Where volume pricing is usually a table the shopper has to decode, Perk makes it the way they choose how much to buy. Three layouts are included so it fits your product page rather than fighting it.

Free shipping that sells itself

Shoppers will add another item to reach free shipping - but only if they know how close they are. Most setups keep that threshold a secret until checkout, which means it never changes what goes in the cart. The discount exists, but it doesn't persuade.

Perk puts a live progress bar on the product page that fills as the cart grows: "$18 away from free shipping" becomes "You've unlocked free shipping" in real time. The bar and the checkout always agree, so shoppers are never promised something the till doesn't honour. Free shipping stops being a line item and starts being the reason the order got bigger.

Spend-to-unlock cart discounts

Discounting every product all the time trains customers to never pay full price. What most stores actually want is to reward bigger baskets: spend 50, get 15% off everything. Perk 1.1 adds exactly that - an order-level discount with the same live progress bar, so the shopper watches themselves get closer to the reward with every item they add. It lifts average order value without touching your margins on small orders.

A unique code for every customer

Here's the quiet killer of discount campaigns: one shared code. It leaks to coupon sites within hours, and suddenly a discount you meant for people on your product page is being applied by every bargain hunter on the internet - blowing through budgets with customers who would have bought anyway.

Perk now issues every visitor their own single-use code by default, whether they're logged in or not. Each code works once, so there is nothing worth sharing and nothing for coupon sites to scrape. Most discount tools treat this as an advanced feature you configure yourself, if it exists at all; we made it the default because it's what protects your margin. Prefer one code for everyone? It's still a single checkbox.

Name your own discount codes

A discount code is marketing copy. SUMMER15 says something about your brand; a random string of letters says nothing. Codes are now yours to choose right in the first step of campaign setup - and if you leave it blank, Perk derives a clean, readable code from your campaign name. Either way, what shows up at checkout looks deliberate, because it is.

A preview you can trust

Every discount app has a preview. Almost none of them look like the real storefront - different fonts, different spacing, line breaks in different places - so merchants end up designing blind, publishing, checking the live page, and going back to fix it. We rebuilt Perk's preview so it renders exactly what your shoppers will see, in your theme's own font, with your real discount code. Design it once, trust what you saw.
